Join us for two shorts by Palestinian filmmaker Ahmad Wuhidi: the premiere of Echoes of Two Lands, & The Regret, an official selection of the 2025 East Village New York Film Festival.
Dinner will be provided after the screenings.
This will be followed by a Q&A discussion with the filmmaker moderated by……

Synopses:
The Regret: A dedicated 24-year-old student becomes obsessively and implacably enveloped by the world of social media and her bad friends. She is later pulled into the influence of pushy friends who strongly encourage her to open an Instagram account “to have fun, ” gradually and willfully forgetting the first lady—the angel who brought her to life. This mother instilled her with value and carried her within her ribs all these years! Sadly, tragedy dominates the daughter’s life later in the movie…
Echoes of Two Lands: A young Palestinian man who runs toward-and away from-memories while taking a road trip, hoping to help him decide whether to stay in this new country or return home.
