DESCRIPTION:The New York Chapters of ICNA\, & CAIR as members of the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) are proud to announce the official launch of the 10th annual National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill\, slated to occur on Monday\, April 28\, and Tuesday\, April 29\, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington\, D.C! \nLimited Spots Available! If you are coming with MUNA please do not fill out this form. \nRepresentatives from national\, state\, and local Muslim organizations and communities are strongly encouraged to join this two-day advocacy event. Delegates and activists will engage with congressional offices to address the pressing issues affecting American Muslims amidst today’s political landscape. \nThe issues we’ll be focusing on include combating the alarming increase in anti-Muslim hate crimes\, safeguarding the free speech of Americans\, ensuring the U.S. government does not remain complicit in Israel’s genocide and occupation of Palestinians\, and more. \nParticipants of past events have shared their experiences through photos and commentary on social media platforms\, using the hashtag #MuslimHillDay.
